The markings on the Cuckoo rice cooker inner pot. The Glutinous marking just means white rice such as long grain/medium grain rice like Thai Jasmine rice.

The inner pot for this Cuckoo rice cooker model has the XWall diamond coating. It's pretty non-stick so far.

  1. Hi, Jeremy! I'm a deaf newcomer. I'd already bought new cuckoo rice cooker as same as yours. I'm at a loss how to use it. Feeling awkward when I start rice cooking today. Teach me how to turn off when rice cooking is completed. Choose glutinous rice....

  2. Hi Ruth, there isn't a power off button on the rice cooker. The rice cooker will automatically switch to 'Keep warm' mode when the rice is cooked. You can then turn off the rice cooker by disconnecting it from the power socket.
